How do I apply for a grant?

Grant applications are due every year on October 15 and then evaluated by the Randolph Fund Board of Directors in November. Distributions are only made once per year. The grant application form is available here. You may submit your application through the form on this page or by attaching it to an email.

Before submitting an application, pleas review the following criteria to determine if your request is eligible to be considered:

Grant Request Guidelines

The Board of Directors for The Roy D. and Ingaborg G. Randolph Memorial Endowment Fund will consider requests for grants to Confessional Lutheran Churches, Missions, Evangelism Organizations, Publishers, and Pro-Life organizations.

We define “Confessional Lutheran” as a Lutheran Church or service organization that preaches and teaches the Word of God and administers the Holy Sacraments strictly in accordance with the Old and New Testaments as explained fully in the Lutheran Confessions as set forth in the Book of Concord of 1580 and which utilizes the traditional Lutheran liturgical form of worship.

The Board of Directors shall be the sole judge as to whether a particular church or mission qualifies as a Confessional Lutheran Church or as a Confessional Lutheran Mission.

The following will NOT be considered: (1) grants to foundations or other grant-making institutions or organizations; (2) grants directed to individuals; and (3) grants not in keeping with confessional teachings of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.
